Greg Fawcett from Marketing Depot and David Menzies from Menzies Consulting were joined by Apex Chamber staff and ambassadors to unveil the kit, which is a combination of a professionally designed website (complete with hosting and email); 500 full-color, double-sided rack cards; and one professionally crafted and distributed press release.
"In these tough economic times, hanging your shingle isn't enough -- small businesses need a boost," David Menzies said.
According to Menzies, the Starter Kit package of services is specifically designed for business owners who realize they need to get their message out to prospects, but may not have the know-how, manpower, or time to put together a strong baseline of marketing, advertising and PR on their own. Menzies and Fawcett have combined their companies' resources in order to be able to price the package under $2,000.
"It's better for all of us in the long run to do what we can to help create an environment that is welcoming to small businesses," Menzies said, adding, "That's why we chose to have our ribbon cutting at the Apex Chamber of Commerce, which continues to be proactive in helping small businesses in a number of ways."
